What We Do

The Richard Hunt Foundation aims to raise funds to support the Welsh personnel who are serving or who have served in the armed forces or those attached to the Welsh regiments and their families or dependant of such persons.

We will do this by:

· Organising events to raise money-see our events page for listings of current plans and how you can help us raise money too!

· Procuring and distributing donation boxes, wristbands, T-shirts and other merchandise.

· Our long term goal is to open an activity centre near Abergavenny, with the aim to make it as disabled access friendly as possible, taking into consideration the particular injuries likely to be suffered by soldiers.

· Finally but not least we aim to raise awareness of these often forgotten 'Welsh Warriors' which is normally hidden from the public's eye.

· On the following pages, we will keep updated 'facts and figures' of our injured soldiers whether it minor or major. The battle for those injured be it physically or mentally continues on a daily basis and we will fight for these forgotten brave heroic men and women and help them get the recognition and the help they deserve.
